At AWL, we aim to increase the circularity of our machines as part of our sustainability goals. This internship offers two distinct, hands-on assignments under the overarching theme of circular economy. One focuses on the design side — evaluating materials and components for their reusability. The other targets machine usage — analyzing operational consumption to identify energy efficiency opportunities. If you are interested but would like to shape the assignment differently, this can certainly be discussed in consultation.
What makes the assignment interesting for students?
You’ll gain insight into real-world sustainability challenges in industrial machine design and contribute directly to AWL’s circularity roadmap.
